WE ARE ALL WRITERS- by: Alhaji Muideen Adeleke
WE ARE ALL WRITERS
Not all of us are lettered though.
But we are bound to write.
Not a letter, but our personal history.
Individuals' conditions could be circumstantial or designed.
Yet,we write and document.
Our actions and inactions.
For the world to reference now,or later .
With or without pen,we shall write it down.
But as the world has almost turned paperless.
Writing our history, will make the use of pen dispensable.
Unfortunately, a negligible percentage of the people still study-read today.
Everyone has transformed into a lazy droze,no thanks to technology.
Besides, the world is more in a haste today.
Moreover,my people more often than not, prefer to see the manifestation of reality, than read it.
Obviously, they are more at home when it is leadership by example.
The pertinent question is what kind of history do you write?
What do you write with, and on what surface or material?
Do you know that, people forget many individuals,no sooner than they pass away?
Just as the memory of many has been engraved in eternal book of life.
Matter-of-factly,creed and ideology are personal to individuals.
My take is,how often we 'mirror'or represent what we propound or profess.
Will help a great deal.
In changing our narratives.
And restore sanity in the system.
